The B-Tape (Album)

It all begins with an idea and for Ryan Blades it was no different. Being a product of the 90’s and a proud wordsmith, for his 3rd studio album Ryan wanted to invoke the vibes of Raekwon the Chef and the release of his Purple Tape. Setting himself apart from the competition you will hear his lyrical prowess over lush laced boom-bap instrumentation, and makes the purposeful intention on conveying a message in his music. Vivid story telling, layered lyricism with gut punching metaphors, aggressive delivery & laid back low-end cadence, he's definitely on his mission. You can clearly see the parallels in his inspiration put forth for anyone who’s willing to press play & listen.
